Worked well on my combination skin, not cakey or heavy very light I sometimes forget I'm wearing it. don't find the need to reapply the whole day and I use without primer or finishing powder
I love this foundation:) I have oily skin and discoloration around my mouth. I use hard candy glamoflauge concealer under this foundation and it doesn't move or melt away. I see reviews that don't recommend this foundation for oily skin, but I would give it a try anyway. For me, it blends beautifully and with a setting powder, lasts about 4 hours without needing an oil blot. It's worth a try:) I use a small stipple brush to apply and am very satisfied with the results. I just wish it came with a pump. xo
Not the best shade selection
When I went to pick this out I went for the one that looked the best on my hand in the store. All of them looked pink or too dark I finally pick one that match perfectly but when I got home it was too dark. Good thing I got it in the winter because I will get tan enough to be that shade. It has sheer coverage. I don't suggest this for someone with oily skin. If u want more coverage I suggest the revlon color stay
I have this foundation in the shade 355 and it doesn't work for my oily skin! it makes me shine so much!! i have to blot every 30 minutes! i tried with and without primer, with setting powder and with setting spray!
Awful! Not my skin color
I was so excited for this product. I look at the sheet for your wrist to see what color to get. I forget my color shade. And when I got home it was a totally different shade then the bottle. The formula to me was awesome but it was way to dark for my skin color. I was so upset I had to return it. I really would want to try it again some day :)
I love this foundation for everyday use. It makes my skin tone perfectly (no matter what skin tone I am at the moment). The only reason that it is not 5 stars is because I'm used to full coverage and this is about medium, but you can build it up. This foundation also lasts all day on my dry skin, been in the summer when my t-zone gets a little oily
Not for oily skin!
I myself have normal skin but I have dry areas. This foundation Fits my skin tone. (220) It gives me enough coverage for a normal day. (Im a senior in high school) so I don't wear makeup everyday. But when I do, this and mascara is all I need. I set it with a translucent powder because I find it it takes 5-10 minutes to actually set. It doesn't feel heavy on your face and it doesn't give you a cake look. All time favorite drug store foundation!
Ok so a lot of women of color have given this makeup a bad review . Well to each his own. First of all like magic it actually matched my skin tone (hard to find 355 ) then the second thing I loved is I'm a New Yorker so moisture is super important to my skin in the winter and also I like a more Dewey makeup look so it was perfect for me. Another complaint I heard is the smell, I would like to say I've smelt no such thing. It sincerely smells like cucumbers. I encourage everyone to try this it is amazing.
ONE OF THE BEST I'VE TRIED
...I can use it in summer, when my skin is oily, I can use in the winter, when it's dry. It offers me medium coverage. Blends easily, just have to let it set (takes about 3 to 10 minutes) Last pretty much all day. For some reason for me it even lasts better when my skin is oily. Only downside for me - it has SPF.
Lovely but it broke me out!
I found that this foundation definitely does what it says: fit your skin tone. However, the biggest thing I look for in foundations or in any face product is whether or not it breaks me out. It gave me such bad acne considering I'm very acne prone. I've still got a full bottle in the cupboard.. I'm in the shade ivory and it fit very well, goes on nicely, but since it broke me out it's not for me.
