Sheer, Lightweight, Natural Finish, Great Staying Power, Fun Formula to Work With
By far the most lightweight foundation I've ever worn, and one of the most interestingly textured as well. I'm not fond of the packaging; being an aerosol can, it's bulky, you really have to shake the can well for the most even distribution of pigment in the foam. Otherwise, the foam will come out white and randomly splotchy with pigment.
Not to mention, some of the foundation will cake up and dry in the opening of the spray nozzle and block it, so that when you spray again later or the next day, it kind of explodes out of the can and onto the mirror/dresser/skin/clothes. Some people spray this on the back of the hand. I prefer to catch it in my palm to keep it from shooting everywhere. Also, because this dispenses as a foam, it's difficult to control how much product you're spraying; if you only need a little, you still dispense a lot.
Packaging quips aside, the foam is just so unusual that it's a little fun to play with. The foam dispenses a little dark, but when it settles into a liquid it lightens significantly and eventually dries light and sheer, making color matching very difficult with this foundation. But because it's so sheer, you can get away with a fairly close match anyway. I am MAC NC30, and was using Dream Nude Airfoam in 170 Nude, which was a little lighter but blended really well.
I apply this with my fingers in 5 areas: forehead, nose, both cheeks, and chin. The foam quickly dissolves into a blendable and sheer liquid, and dries to a fresh, natural, semi-matte finish. Not quite flat as truly matte finish! It reminds me of the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream's finish; just a tiny bit of sheen. Likewise, neither offer medium coverage, but at least they can be buildable to medium coverage at best.
I have combo-oily skin so I was hesitating to try this at first, but during the winter my skin is drier, so I gave this a chance and its staying power has lasted me 9 hours, and without powder! I was pleasantly surprised that this didn't just disappear like many sheer face makeup do. I can't say that this will be great for the summer when my skin is relentlessly oily; it may just slide off. Also, I'm not sure that the $10 price tag (I think this is the most expensive Maybelline foundation) is worth the troubling packaging. The foam is fun to play with, but I think it's more of a marketing gimmick.
As far as the formula goes though, I do recommend this for normal skin types year-round, and for combo-oily and oily skin types during the fall and winter seasons when oil is less of an issue.
AMAZING
This foundation is amazing! I won't ever wear anything else again! I am a dancer, and it stays on for 4 hours of Jazz practice! It never fades, it is build-able, and it feels great. It gives a beautiful matte finish. I even went swimming once with it on and it stayed! (well, most of it) I still had to remove my makeup after swimming. Absolutely try this out and make sure you use primer!
Hate....
I tried this foundation hoping it would be as nice as the one i tried out at sephora. NOT AT ALL. when you spray it, it comes out oily feeling to me. It comes out soo much darker than the can shows. It makes streak marks and doesn't go onto your skin the way you want it to! Please dont buy this product, its a waste of money!

Light Weight.
I have pretty fair skin tone and thought I would give it a try, the SPF was a big influence in purchasing since the weather is warming up ( and my job requires me to be outside most of the day) The purchase was out on a limb, I came across it in a drug store and decided to buy it. It wasn't on sale, and it was $11.99 plus tax Canadian..So far so good, but I really dislike that you can't really measure how much of it you need when you dispense it out because it expands like shaving cream. It can also get all over the place. That said, it matches my skin great, it has very light coverage that evens out my skin, and it is much easier to blend out than my regular foundation. I didn't much like how sticky it felt because it seemed to eat my finishing powder and it smells kind of funny and runs like water a a few seconds on the back of my hand.
Not what I expected.
I paid just under $9 for it and I cannot say I would have spent $1 on it. The product is much darker than advertised, even the lightest shade is too dark for me, it smells like sunscreen when it is applied, and it ends up smelling sort of metallic, and it's not pleasant. The colour finish is orange and it looks extremely cakey. It comes out this sort of light texture, but as soon as you attempt to apply it, it turns to this watery, sort of pigmented liquid. I'm very disappointed in this product.
Horrible!
Do not buy this stuff. Probably the worst foundation I have ever tried! When I bought this I looked at the color and it looked very close to what I usually wear. When it came out of the can it went about 2-3 shades darker and was this god aweful orange color. Like when you see those girls with those bad spray tans. It was also very sticky and it didn`t keep its consistency it pretty much turned to water. I definitely do not recommend this to anyone.
Soooooo bad...
This comes out as a foam and quickly turns to water. It has. I pigmentation until it dries. I kept trying to build up the coverage and ended up putting on quite a bit because it shows up more as it dries. All said and done it looked really bad. Like crypt keeper bad. So I started over. Put the watery foam on a lot lighter this time know on e it was dry it would show. Still bad. It just dried up way too dry and made my skin shrivel up like a raisin with it. Aged me really badly. Also, the color selection isn't great and I had the lightest color and it was a little too dark and way too pink. I gave the bottle to my sister and it didn't take her long to use it up. A couple of weeks. You don't get much product for your money.
it doesn't work for me because i have very oily skin, if you do have oily skin i'd advise you not to use this 'cause it makes a shine on your skin.
Also it drys out really quick, it leaves tan makes when you don't use all of it.
Makes me look like a cake face
No matter how hard I try to apply a thin layer to look natural, this foundation makes me look like I have piles of make up on. I love the foam, though. It's so hard to go for a light look with this, which really sucks.
Also, when I squirted the product onto the back of my hand (as the directions say), it always ends up flying every where, and getting on my clothes/walls. Not what I was really looking for.
Not a fan.
I actually bought this product on a whim. I was looking for the Garnier BB Cream because I wanted something light and natural without feeling super heavy. There was a lady working at the cosmetic section of my local Walgreens, and she brought it upon herself to help me out. She told me she bought the foundation and that she was currently wearing it. I kind of looked passed the fact that her makeup looked extremely heavy, and because the product implied that it would be lightweight, I bought it anyways. I went home and put it on. The application of it was messy. You have to shake it up as if it were some spray paint, and when you finally get it out, it goes everywhere! You also have to be quick when applying it because it gets runny after a few seconds. When I put it on my skin, it just felt....heavy. The coverage was alright, but I was looking for something light and natural, and this was NOT it.
