LOVE THIS MASCARA!
This is one of my favorite mascaras of all time! I have short lashes so it takes a very good product to impress me! This mascara is very buildable without making them look clumpy, making my short lashes look very full! This mascara smells like collagen but I have came to enjoy the scent of it for some odd reason! Haha! Great product for an affordable price!
This is my favorite drugstore mascara! It coats the lashes in dramatic black color while making them appear more dense and lengthening them considerably. (Most mascaras are a one-trick pony, so I was thrilled that the volumizing formula offered respectable length as well!) It didn't do much to curl or separate the lashes, but I had no problems with clumping.
This mascara wore pretty well, to. When I manually curled my lashes, the curl held for 4 hours. I experienced a small amount of flaking at the 6 hour mark as well. Otherwise, I got rich color, length, and volume for over 10 hours.
The wand is chubby, with dense, wide bristles. This type of brush makes for great volumizing; however, it does make coating the baby hairs in the inner corners of the eye difficult. I didn't have any issues with it poking me, though, or being cumbersome. It's affordable to ($6.99), which is remarkable for the great results you get.
The only women I can picture not enjoying this are those who were blessed with naturally thick, dense lashes. The thickeners in volumizing formulas will cause their natural lashes to clump, leaving a sour impression. These women should opt for thinner, more lengthening formulas.

My go-to mascara. I have long curly eye lashes to begin with so I'm very happy that this mascara leaves no clumps in my lashes or wispy particles under my eyes. It enhances my eyelashes and does give it a fuller effect. I love the color as well..blackest black!
I Could live Without it :?
Maybelline is one of my FAVORITE drugstore brandsn as well as my go-to mascara brand. When I got my CVS extra bucks, i spent it on this. I was perfectly happy with my Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express, but I thought why not. The product was an overall disappointment. The color was fine, the wand was great, it just wasn't "for me". The only remarkably great thing it did was make my lashes super black. Not longer, not fuller, just black. Overall experience... I'll use it, but I probably won't buy it again.
i don't know if its just a bad tube that i got or what but this mascara is the most clumped that i have used wait, now i cant use it because the lid is glued to the bottle and now i can't use it, it creates such a mess this is not the best nor the worst that i have seen and that is that.
Switching Mascaras is No Longer an Option
I'm always skeptical about mascaras. I love drama; I want big, fat, long, "yes, I'm wearing mascara" lashes without the clumps, the flaking, or the blurring. The holy grail, right? I've tried everything from the weird, wandless mascaras to the much-loved and super expensive Diorshow, but nothing met my absurd stabdards until I borrowed this from a friend and was floored.Yes, Maybelline beats Diorshow, at least in my book! I Immediately ran out to purchase my own tube, possibly that very same day. Easy to do since it's sold in every major drug store! Now, I have dainty, blink-and-you'll-miss-them light brown lashes. One coat of this mascara gives me major length, major volume, and minimal clumping, flaking, etc. Once in a great while I may have to pick out a small clump in the morning, but we do that with all mascaras at some point. Come on. I WILL caution you that you don't want to go crazy layering this stuff. That's when you will get the lashes-glued-together look. Really, one coat is all you need. And remember, that's coming from a woman who likes her lashes loud.
