Really useful in small quantities
This product is great to set under eye concealer, especially because I have this natural fold there where my concealer/foundation tends to crease. It gives my skin a soft satin finish and my skin feels really smooth afterwards. I know this is made for film but I really wish they made something for flash photography, because, honestly, who is in a HD film everyday? It's also very messy; I end up blowing off all the product that comes out of the container and falls on the edge of where you screw the cap back on and I feel like it's wasted but I really don't want to put the effort in to try to get all that powder back in the container.
Love it, but the packaging kills me!
I'm absolutely in love with the way this feels on my skin, and it actually sets my makeup which is something I haven't found in a lot of other powders. Keep in mind that this powder is meant for film, and not photography. Use this product sparingly if you do want to use this for flash photography. The biggest downfall about this product for me is that it's a little messy. Seeing as how you should only use a small amount, getting it out is kind of dreadful. It's finely milled so the product literally goes every where. I still have remnants of it on my boots. Other than that, I love the final look of my makeup when I use this powder. Everything looks put together and flawless.
Great for that "photoshopped flawless face".. on photos not so much.
Great translucent powder, sets my makeup beautifully as I have combo skin--more on the oily side. Has a silicone texture to it. It's a must have for me, although be careful when taking flash photography as this powder shoes up being a ghostly cast if used too much. Can be seen on some celebrity photographs making them look like reverse racoons (too much white underneath the eyes! as they use this powder to set their undereye concealers). And same went for me when I first used it, but with a light hand (used mac 187 duo fibre brush as that only picks up a little amount of product), you can get away with flash photography. I use this powder with clients as well and looks flawless! Love this product.
This product can be a "love" or "hate". It is a universal translucent powder like it says, but it doesn't look good on me on photos. I have olive skin tone, and light reflects on it especially in flash photography. Maybe it is good to fair skin tones. It is good for everyday use like going to work, or shopping. Doesn't make my skin oily. :)
Work well!
I love this product! Let me tell you I have oily skin, and other powders don't stand up! I love the smell texture and just the overall product. It sets my foundation up wonderfully, and keeps the shine away.
I love this powder! A must have in everyones makeup bag!! My makeup last all day and I have oily skin and no other power last and kept the shine away but this does...I never want to be without it.
Oh so wonderfulll
Ok, I usually wouldn't spend this much on a powder, but I bought this because I heard such amazing reviews and didn't have anything to set my foundation with at the time. Having said that, I'm very glad I bought it and even though its pricey, I'd buy it again because its that good. A little goes a long way and mine has lasted forever (hmm name coincidence?). Just lightly dusting it all over sets my foundation and tends to make my pores appear smaller. Don't use too much!
best ever
i was skeptical about using this product at first. i was afraid about it staying white on my face. well i was wrong it works great.blends great and feels great. sets my foundation wonderfully.
Fair skin, no photo problems
This is one of my favorite powders for setting cream or liquid foundation. I use it with the Kabuki brush designed for it, using a very small amount as indicated, roll/swirl/press lightly onto the skin. It's the most finely milled powder I have. I've used it for shoots that include flash photography and I have not had any of the photography problems described, but agree with others that it's best used on fair skin. has anyone actually contacted MUFE regarding the 'white patches in photos' problem they've had? I'd be interested to see what they advise.
Skin feels so smooth and looks flawless
This powder is a must have for photos and special occasions. It sets the makeup yes, but also creates a soft appearance to the skin. I have noticed some bad or okay reviews on this, it is probably because the application wasn't done right or possibly they used too much. You only need a tiny bit, a little goes a long way. Trust me, I have been in the industry for quite some time, and my makeup forever finishing powder has done me wonders. what are you waiting for?
