Amazing Color, A Little Messy

I bought the Xmas pigments, and I am in total love with them. I bought Guilty Passions, and I am in love with Spruced and Moss Garden. The only downside is they tend to be SUPER MESSY. It's extremely hard to get them to stick to a brush. I find that by whipping rather than patting helps a lot. They also aren't long lasting with a base.

I got these pigments as a gift on christmas. it seems like every time i put them on a few hours later the colour just falls off. The colors are beautiful. Maybe im not using them right. i apply them on with the fix+ spray. i really love the colors just wish they wouldnt fade away so quickly.

Original and awesome!

I love these. I only have Butterfly Party, but I love it. Even if the product itself wasn't really great, it just looks cool!! The shadow itself is really silky and pigmented, although you do have to be wary of fallout. I don't think that these last any longer or shorter than a regular MAC shadow. I really dig the finish on these shadows, they almost look like wet metallic.. very pretty!

Gorgeous Pigments!

I absolutely love the colors and metallic sparkle of the Butterfly Party Pigment set! However... for me personally, I found them hard to apply and not very creamy. I still gave this product a pretty good score, because I love the colors and sparkle so much-and I like them more applied over a darker shadow.

Makes blue eyes pop!

Beautiful quad of loose metallic pigments. I love all 4 golden shades, very pretty with blue eyes but works with all eye colors! I recommend, if you like pigments! I love how they stack too.

Gorgeous colors.. secret technique!!

I have been buying these crushed metallic pigments whenever Mac comes out with new shades.. they are sooooo gorgeous. But when it came to applying ..it was a disaster.. they were not applying well, either too soft & muted or crumbly all over the face .. fingers seemed best to apply - but difficult to control the shape of application .. AND THEN ... a wonderful makeup artist at a MAC counter gave me the secret to working with these shadows.. #242 brush & a spritz or 2 of Fix+ ... and it worked like magic Gorgeous colors.. complete control of the application.. I can blend.. & I don't have cheeks full of pigment dust! Yah baby!!! lol

Summery Bronzy Colors = ♥

Last summer, I missed out of the pigment stack that came out with the Surf Baby Collection. When I found out that the pigments stacks were coming out again, I instantly scooped up the Aloha stack, my favorite out of the three for 2012. Honestly, I'm SO happy with my choice. The colors are GORGEOUS and perfect for a summer bronze look, but can also transition well in the fall. My favorite color out of the stack has to be Campfire. I've paired Campfire with a matte dark brown in the crease and it came out beautifully. Now I will admit that the colors are very frosty, so if you don't like that, you wouldn't like these. I love them and I plan on using them a lot more during the summertime. The pigmentation is great and as you swipe on the color, the color seems to intensify. A great product from MAC.

Best Pigmentation

I'm a big fan of gold and coppery eyeshadows. So I had to get this in Aloha
Shifting Sands: silvery champagne
Aloha: smokey brown
Lantern Lights: orangey gold
Campfire: orangey copper
All of these wonderful shades have golden shimmer to them. And the metalic finish comes out even more when they are applied wet.
The colour payoff is out of this world, especially when u use a white or goldy base. I'll probably buy other Crushed Metallic Pigments too :)

The colors are BEAUTIFUL!!!! You get alot for you money with this product. The colors come in various shades and go well with any or most complexion. Also, very pigmented and easy to work with I absolutely love them.

Exceptional

I so Love the crushed metallic pigments from mac. So vibrant and the versatility of what you can do with them really helps. my all time fav in this swatch is the light rose. great for a subtle everyday look.
