GOOD PRODUCT!!!

This eyeshadow palette is awesome to start out with you dont have a lot of shadows and your just starting out your collection or if you just love makeup like i do and want a lot of colors to choose from. I use this palette every week for my makeup look because it is a pigmented palette and i usually dont have to look for any other shadows in my collection because most of the time it is all right there. Very convient for those who are in a rush and dont have a lot of time to dig through a lot of makeup. These shadows for the most part are true to color when used with a primer. A little bit of a downside but still ok to me is that they are a little bit powdery or chalky but one on the lid and blended out you cant even tell the difference. I love this palette and would recommend it to anyone!!

Love it!

I got this palette about a year ago on sale at target and I love it! I think this is a great product for people who like to experiment with color. I think it's about 70(Good)/30(Bad) on colors pigmentation wise, and there are some really nice colors! The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that I've dropped it a few times and now about three colors are non-existant. They cracked everywhere. But this is not in anyway ELF's fault. Overall great product!

Would be a Great Color Selection, If More Than Half Had Any Pigmentation

This was among the first e.l.f products that I ever used, and like most people drawn to e.l.f I found the price very attractive—100 shadows for $10? That's like $0.10 per pan! The palette's packaging is also very sleek and professional looking. However when I tested it I found myself struggling to apply many of the shadows; while the texture of about half of them can be soft and easy to apply, the other half of the shadows are very stiff, chalky, or dry and hard to load color onto a brush or a finger tip. Even with eyeshadow primer, the colors still looked better in their pans because applied they look very sheer no matter how much you layer them.

I did find these actually work much better when using wet application techniques; use a wet brush or fingertip for significantly more saturated color and pack it onto your eyelid that way. I've had much better results this way! But I prefer to use eyeshadows that apply well dry because I take my palettes with me on travels, and don't always have water handy.

My skin tone is in fact light to medium, and I generally don't have problems with eyeshadows but find this is one of the most poorly pigmented products I've ever tried. I did like their Endless Eyes Mini Pro Palette (32-piece) one though! It was far easier to apply those than these were, and the colors looked more pigmented. Their mineral eyeshadow singles are also highly pigmented.

It's a great starter palette, especially for the price. Some colors are pigmented, others are not. You'll definitely need to use a primer for these, but I always use a primer so it wasn't a big deal to me.

AMAZING! better than coastal scents!

I swatched and played around with a few of the shades since it actually belongs to my best friend, but I freaking love this! 144 colors is a great deal for only $15, and on top of that, the colors are silky smooth and pigmented. They're not super chalky and chunky like the Coastal Scents 88 palette, and has a good mix of shimmery, pearl, matte, etc. shades so that you don't have too many flat colors or too many super frosty colors.

I have been enjoying this product for months. The colors are very well pigmented & blend easily with not only the same brand but others as well. It's cheap in price but high in quality. I highly recommend it!

disappointment

I was really excited to try ELF (We don't have ELF where I live). I had heard a lot of good things about ELF and this was one of the items I ordered. I loved all the colors. Imagine my disappointment when I got it, and the color barely showed up at all. Such poor pigmentation. It kind of turned me off the entire brand.
