Suddenly a fan of lipstick

After receiving a four colored sample of this lipstick, I am no convinced I should purchase a full size of Palpitante, the perfect raspberry red for my complexion. I also really like Pirate and Passion, but I fell in love a slightly bit more with Palpitante. I hardly ever wear lipstick, but what I like about this one, is that it hardly comes off, even when I'm drinking wine. I just lick my lips before sips and there is no mark on the glass. I do also like the fact that it's Chanel brand. There is something alluring about the story behind Coco Chanel.

This is easily my favorite lipstick ever.

I love the texture of this lipstick. It glides right on your lips without any need for prior moisturizing. It comes off when you drink/eat, but otherwise, it stays pretty well. I can go maybe 6-8 hours without reapplying. My favorite color, Audace, fades into a really pretty stain even if you don't reapply. It is expensive, but it's lasted me a pretty good while thus far, so I can't complain. I love this lipstick!

NOTHING SPECIAL

I received one of these lipsticks as a gift with purchase and was very happy about it. The color i got is 58 Audace, which is a beautiful slightly darker red. It applies nicely and is well pigmented, but is very drying on my lips, perhaps because of the matte finish. It's not very creamy and I simply found that it did not perform well. All in all, there are much cheaper and better lipsticks out there.

Summary: I really like those range of lipstick, but mainly because of the packaging... I will compare it to my Giorgio Armani lipstick, it's a great product but you can easily find a dup for the product, but not for the packaging...

I've been using Emotive and it's my favorite red lipstick to date. There's no need to put a lip balm or conditioner because the formula is ultra moisturizing and goes on smooth like a dream. My lips did not dry out and the color lasted the whole day (and night) - I only had to reapply after eating or drinking.

Chanel Rouge Allure in Passion has been my go-to red lipstick for the past 4 years. I like that I can apply it sheer or layer it on for a more intense red lip look. It's creamy and doesn't dry out my lips and the color is a perfect true red on me (most lipsticks that look red in the tube end up going pink on my lips).

Feels great

Been wearing this brand for years; love how it feels going on and how it looks. Pricey but worth it. Highly recommended for a gift if you don't feel like splurging on it yourself (but hey, why not?)
