Was't too great I couldnt really stand the waxy smell and taste, it was like plastic but I love Burts line of cosmetics and it still did its job!
Subtle, smooth and shiny- perfect for daily wear
I absolutely love this lip gloss and use the Honeysuckle one daily. I have been using Burt's Bees lip products for years, starting with the lip shimmer (champagne) but now I find the sparkles a bit much for daily work life. Feels great and keeps your lips soft all day. Only wish is that it had some spf protection. (I use the Burt's Bees regular chapstick with spf for outdoor activities, but these 2 products don't work well together.)
Maybe it was just mine?
I LOVED this stuff.... until about after a month of use, it smelled absolutely awful. I'll probably buy one more and see if the same thing happens though. I still loved the color, texture, and everything else
My favorite!
I use Pink Blossom and it looks good no matter what colors I'm wearing on my eyes/cheeks. I was worried it wouldn't be highly pigmented but it goes on well. It doesn't necessarily hydrate your lips, but it also doesn't dry them out!
Great for less pigmented lips
I decided to give this tinted lip balm a go after trying the Rejuvenating Lip Balm. I respect what the brand stands for and went in search of the darkest color I could find at the store. As soon as I reached the car, I opened the packaging and tried Hibiscus. I must admit, I saw absolutely no color but I have a lot of pigmentation on my lips. For people with less pigmented lips, this is going to be a fantastic product.
Great balm to keep in your purse
Although my lips are pretty pigmented, this balm leaves a slightly distinguishable hint of colour on my lips. Don't expect anything too noticeable though. It's like a my-lips-but-better effect. Great for days when you're not wearing any/much make up but still want your lips to look rosy and healthy. I like to use this over a lip stain for a natural rosy look.
It's satisfactorily moisturising upon application, but it hasn't kept my lips from chapping when used as my primary lip balm. Then again, I do have dry lips prone to chapping.
so moisturizing!
I also have this in Tiger Lily, and the color is extremely subtle. I was so afraid it would come off as orange on my lips as my skin is so pale, but it just leaves a very light wash of color. The moisturizing properties of this lip balm are by far its best quality. My lips are noticeably smoother after use, and the formula glides on like butter. Great for those who like all-in-one products!
I have used both Tiger Lily and Rose, I like both of them so, so, so much. It looks great on, not too much color at all. Even though Tiger Lily leaves my lips a peachy shade it's easily mistaken for my natural lip color. I definitely prefer the Tiger Lily to the rose, but I have a love of peach makeup in general. Great for somebody who wants a bit of color but doesn't want to look like they're wearing a ton of makeup.
Wonderful product!
I love Burt's Bees! I remember when they used to only have lip balms, and I am just super impressed with how much they have grown, and how many amazing products they have available today... I tried their tinted lip balm a few weeks ago, and love it. I am such a lipstick girl, (always have to have something on my lips), but this is really nice because it moisturizes your lips really well, and gives a natural tint! I even wear it to bed sometimes haha! I have only tired the Tiger Lily shade, but really want to try the Honeysuckle... If anyone has tried it, let me know how you like it!!
One of my favorite Burt's Bees products!
I have it in Honeysuckle...I love how silky and creamy it feels on! It almost feels like you have nothing on your lips, your lips just feel moisturized. I love how it gives a little color...just enough to enhance your own natural lip color. I plan on buying more of these.
