Benefit Cosmetics Erase Paste
A must have
This is a perfect salmon coloured corrector that covers dark under eye circles like a dream! But a little goes a very long way, so the smallest amount will work for both eyes.
I like this more than the bobbi brown corrector, and it contains more product too.
Dual purpose
I like it! It works well as a medium coverage concealer and also works as an higlighter. Moderation is necessary, if not it will look cakey and crease. A concealer brush is also necessary if not this product will not work properly. If you're considering a cheap cosmetic concealer this one is a bit pricey but in terms of amount of product it definetly pays off.
I have very dark under eye circles. This product is amazing! I use a primer under it so it doesn't crease or settle into the little lines under my eye. It stays on all day and covers my dark circles. This is a must have product for me. Even if I'm just doing light, simple make up I have to put this one.
I bought the lightest shade because, obviously, the concealer needs to be at least a shade lighter than my skin tone so it can help brighten some areas. I like to use this on my under eye circles, but I blend it together with my tinted moisturizer because it's a little bit too bright. It would have been better if Benefit came out with more than three shades for this concealer. If you use too much, it can look a little too cakey.
Really enjoy this product!
I have this product and I liked it so much I wrote a review on my blog a couple of weeks ago. Have olive skin with acne, I tend to get a lot of purply scars as well as dark areas around my mouht, nose and eyes. This product definitely brings "light" and brightness to those areas and makes me look alive and that I have a bright complexion (something I wish I had naturally). A few cons, however, are that while the jar it comes in is cute it's not really practical for long nails (you get product under your nail). Another thing is that the product has an oily type consistency so while it is easy to spread it does tend to settle into the lines under my eyes (I'm 24!) lol Either way, the pros far outweigh the cons and I love the light reflecting properties of this pretty concealer. Definitely try it! <3
My Favorite Concealer!
I LOVE this concealer! It's consistency is rich and somewhat thick but it blends beautifully into the skin and covers my dark circles without drying out the skin around my eyes. It brightens and perfects the eye area without looking cakey or heavy and it doesn't accentuate or settle into my fine lines. It's a little on the pricey side but it lasts a long time...a little goes a long way!
good coverage but too dark
I am one of those REALLY pale ladies - you know, the ones who get the palest shade of foundation and still have to mix in some white for it to be light enough. I love this product because it gives great coverage. I used it on my undereye circles a bunch of times and it really did erase them! However, even the lightest shade is too dark for me. If benefit made more shades and there was a paler one that matched me, I would absolutely buy and use it regularly. As it is, I can't use it because it just looks bizarre wearing a concealer that is noticeably darker on me than my skin/foundation. If there's a shade that matches your skin well, then I would say go for it and get it because it IS a great product, just one that I unfortunately cannot use.
