About Me

I studied cosmetology at an Aveda school. I love everything about doing hair, but especially color and updos. I have pretty long hair, so in the future I want to work a lot with people who also have longer hair than you might see every day. Of course, I love doing really modern, short cuts, too.
I'm inspired a lot by Gothic and J-fashion, pre-Raphaelites, the Victorian era, bold colors, and interesting textures. My favorite era EVER for beauty, especially for makeup, is probably the 1920's.

I also hope to study esthetics and massage in the future, and when I'm not doing hair, I like writing, reading (especially horror and fantasy), playing violin, dancing ballet, belly dancing, and taking day trips to San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Berkeley, and Monterey to look for cool stuff.

Currently I am working as a beauty advisor/makeup artist.
