I am an artist in my own right with a passion and a desire to see art expressed and created upon the body as well as within ...

I am a professional cosmetologist, currently paying my dues working in a salon so that I can go back to school to be an instructor and hopefully one day teach about the thing that I love.

Make up and aesthetics are my passion. I am currently enrolled in night aesthetics classes so that I can eventually teach that as well.

My dream is to open a make up college here where I live. There's no formal licensing or education in my state and I'd like to change that.

My short bucket list is this:
1) Do Dolly Parton's hair
2) Do make up for a Lady Gaga video
3) See and Alexander McQueen runway show in person
4) Do a Chanel photo shoot
5) Go to New York's fashion week

My "philosophy" on beauty is this:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate; our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually, who are you NOT to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking back so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us, it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others."
