Up next in the Royal Wedding Nail craze is the newest shade from butter LONDON: No More Waity, Katie. Inspired by the upcoming royal nuptials, butter LONDON Creative Director Nonie Creme mixed an royal shade of greige purple infused with lilac glitter.
It takes about 3 coats for No More Waity, Katie to show up as it should, but after you've applied the final topcoat, look out for some fierce spring nails! I've fallen in love with the lilac/periwinkle glitter--it's not a shade you often see in polishes and the sparkle catches the light beautifully. The brush makes application a breeze, but like most textured polishes, it's slightly harder to get a completely even distribution of glitter particles. The cool toned coloring of this polish is more flattering for hands than feet, so save it for your fingertips instead of your toes (choose creamy brights for pedis this spring!)
butter LONDON certainly crafted a unique shade. It's not your typical wedding nail color, but it's a youthful, fun, and modern interpretation of a typically muted and elegant shade. The real question is, do you think Kate will wear it on the big day?
