No idea. Do they only let the winner know? where do they annouce it? :S

lolol not sure hahaha :(

It's posted on the Beautylish facebook fan page :)

ohhh thanksss

I did a purple eye look! I liked it so much! I was the most beautiful girl on the prom :))

I used Kandee's newest Marilyn Monroe tutorial to do a pin-up sailor look for Halloween last year. I used mostely Cover Girl products since they are so affordable, and also L'Oreal eye products because they are look and feel great :)

I did a blue smokey look since my prom theme was avatar I decided to get inspired on the beautiful blue hues. I used elf and maybelline cometics. Not my best choice but i didn't have many resources for my prom look. I wish i had had a better eyeliner, eyelid primer and applied false eyelashes. I did get a lot of compliments on the look though. I was told that the blue made my brown eyes stand out.

Unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of going to prom. This is a look I did for a costume party, I did a pin-up girl look. I absolutely loved this look! Unfortunately I do not have much money to have updated cosmetics, so this look was achieved mostly with Covergirl products, which are cheap but still of decent quality. I regret the color I chose for my lips, because looking at it, I feel like it does not work with my complexion.
For anyone who is looking for must-have prom beauty essentials, I would say to always carry eyeliner and concealer! Most of the time when people go to prom they do not want to carry a big purse with them, so as long as you have an eyeliner pencil and a little concealer, you can always stay looking fresh. Thanks and good luck everyone :)

and heres my prom look from last year..i thought i did a pretty good job..wish i watched more kandee johnson!! haha..but i used mac foundation and concealer.. with mac blushes in two colors one to contour..i did a dark grey smokey eye with dark eyeliner and loads of mascara..with ardell fake lashes..nude mouth
i like how i did it..but wish i knew tricks i do now..

i absolutely love this look!!!

Prom is one of those ‘’special’’ nights where we can put on our beautiful dresses, deck out the heels, and feel and look glamorous. Now it’s been a while since I went to prom, but I look back at it and can’t help having great memories of it.

I didn’t have the $300 dollar gown and shoes, but I did save up money to get my makeup done at MAC. At the time it was $40, which might not seem that expensive, but for a high school student who is saving up her nickels and dimes, it’s definitely a luxury.

But I know there are many girls (or guys) who can’t afford to shell out that type of money. Trust me, I completely understand. Which is why I wanted to do a prom-inspired look anyone could do on their own using affordable products.

While I wish I could have done this look with other different color schemes, I chose golden copper tones (but honestly you could change the colors to match your dress).

I started with a DIY primer (equal parts mixture of foundation, body butter and moisturizer) on the lids, and then I started with a rose golden color (second from the top left) in Wet n Wild’s collection quad (Comfort Zone). I padded the color all over my eyelids. Then I took a blending brush (ELF mineral blending brush) and took some matte black (wet n wild’s Greed palette) and smoked the color on the outer part of the eyelids and taking it pass the crease and out further. I made sure to soften the edges to soften the harsh lines and creating an almost oval shape. I patted a nice light golden color to bring some light to the middle and connect all the colors. Next I took a light white eye shadow and took it to my brow bone I also took some sparkling white glittery shadow and placed it at the arch of my brow bone and in the tear duct. Taking a pencil brush (ELF), I took a bit of the black eye shadow and took it a bit below my waterline. Then placed some of the rose golden color over it to soften it a bit. Next I took N.Y.C liquid eyeliner and created a heavy wing on my top lid (can be made thinner) to enlarge the eyes a bit more. I also lined the up and down waterline with a black kohl pencil (wet n wild). Added mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

As for the rest of the look, I used the blush from E.L.F’s studio contouring blush & bronzing duo and lightly dusted some on my cheeks. For the lips, I wish I had a really nice nude lipstick, but I don’t so I improvised and used a light rosy pink lipstick on my lips (topped with a lip gloss).

Hopefully this helps some get inspired to play around with different looks for their prom. And not to fret if they can’t afford to go all out for the big day. It’s the joy of being with your friends, and being alive and young that you remember. We’re all amazing and beautiful. Let’s not forget that. To all the soon graduating seniors: Have a wonderful prom!

This was my Prom 07 look. I described to the makeup artist that I wanted my makeup to match my dress. So she added some blue and silver eye makeup. I loved my look and especially my dress. My prom date was Ricky, my best friend at the time. It funny because now we are engaged and about to be married in 17 days!!!! I am also wearing my the shoes I wore from this prom picture, for my wedding. It's something special to me. I will never forget this day or even this look! It made me have so much confidence in myself and everything was amazing. I will always cherish this picture forever. <3

Oh wow CONGRATS!!!!

This is my prom picture from back in 2008! This picuture was actually taken after Prom for my Senior Pictures. I like this picture more because I did my own make-up. I didn't use that much eye shadow which was ok because orange eyeshadow I think wouldn't look good. My biggest regret would be the color dress I picked. I wish I got a dark color dress so I could use dark eye shadow or a blue color to go with my eyes. I also regret not getting a fake tan but my skin doesn't look too bad in this photo. I like how I did my foundation and bronzer. I wished I used some kind of teeth whiter too because my teeth look so gross! I think the most important thing I used was the bronzer because it would look super bad having my face all the same color. The jewelry was fun to wear and matched really well with the dress. Overall I like this look but thought I could do better on the color I picked.
