Is there any way I can remove or improve my acne scars!? I'm 18 and I've had the scars on for about 4 years. I don't pick at my acne but they're still there. I wash my face daily and nothing seems to work. Help?!
Have you tried Mederma or Clearskins Acne Scar corrector ? There both Drugstore products but if you want something more high end you could try Clinique's dark Spot corrector but the bottle is quite small and $50 . I hope this helps lol
Often times, those scar correctors are not effective especially if the acne scars are deep set. There are topics that MAY help, but the only effective way to go about it are lasers, chemical peels, or light therapies which are all quite pricey and often times, needs several rounds of treatment.
Clinique's Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector had given wonderful results. Most luxary like dark spot correctors will also work on acne scaring. They work by breaking up the melanin deposits in the skin (dark pigmentation) . When using any type of this product it is important to exfoliate regularly because the melanin is broken up and brought to the surface, but still has to be washed away just like any dead skin cell. It is also important to use SPF DAILY (no matter what season it is or if it's overcast out). UVA and UVB is damaging to the skin and will work against any progress you have made for your scaring. Cliniques product runs $50 or $73 for a larger one. One downfall is it takes 12 weeks and you need to go through a few bottles to get you through that time. Lancome has one called Visionarre that is more pricey ($84 I believe) but works in one bottle--4 weeks. There are other benefits to this product too, such as skins overall healthy appeal and evenness and helping with fine lines and wrinkles.
you need to see a dermatologist. That is thee best advice I can give you. You can try creams but they may niot work, and at times it's just best to shell out those bucks for proper treatment.
Five years ago, I was prescribed Accutane for my acne. It certainly kept my acne at bay for five years. A few months ago, I started breaking out again and this time the severity was less than it previously was. It was a few small zits and blackheads here and there. I was prescribed Tretinoin, which I bought cheap here http://www.internationaldrugmart.co... and it was a God send! The first two weeks, I battled with extra oily skin and my face turned beet red. I persevered and by the third week, the redness subsided and my face became acclimatised to it. The acne has definitely gone away as has the blackheads. The plus side is that my face looked smoother in years and whatever residual acne scars and discolorations have softened and looked better and better. Tretinoin addressed my acne needs and truly delivered.
Take 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Make a paste. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever.

I've heard good things about laser treatments. It usually takes a few treatments over a few weeks, but the results I've seen are excellent.
