Is Bumble and Bumble Worth It?

After a salon disaster 18 months ago left me cowering under my bed (or at least with my hair in a perpetual bun), I finally bit the bullet and went to a new salon today. I have an actual style now, which is awesome, but this place is a Bumble and Bumble salon and they were pushing their product hard.

I have really curly hair and I have to say that it usually doesn't look great. So it's entirely possible that coming up with a new 5 step regimen would make it look more presentable, but I am really wary of shelling out the money for this product line?

What do you guys think? Is Bumble and Bumble worth it?

It is a great line, and if your hair is SUPER curly I would consider investing.
Maybe you can ask them if they have little sample size jars of the product before you actually go and buy full size. If not, RESEARCH! Go on you tube and look up some reviews.

I've never personally used bumble to bumble, but i've heard people say that they didn't really like it. its worth a shot though! it may work out great for your hair!

When the summer comes so do my curls. I have super curly hair and the only way to survive the summer heat & frizz is by using Bumble & bumble products but if your going to invest on high-end products I also recommend Ouidad products especially their "Botanical Boost spray". The down side to curly hair is that the drugstore products kind of suck because they just don't seem to know our hair type. And in my opinion products from bumble & bumble, Ouidad, Deva Curl are specifically made for Curly girls and work too!

I've been using the Bumble & Bumble mini travelling sized Prep, DeFrizz and Thickening hairspray from Sephora for most of 2011 but they personally dont do much for my fine, frizzy, curly hair. The only product out of these 3 that do something is the defrizz serum (makes my ends look healthyish but doesnt fight frizz..) but youre better off with living proof's frizz-fighting products (my personal recommendation). There are just sooooooo many other better moderate to high-end products out there, I dont know where the hype is from!

@Ally N. Thanks! I hadn't heard of CurlBox. I'll check that out.
