Hey I've recently launched a new website (http://www.justkrissi.com) we've launched with OPI and now adding CND but interested to see which polishes you all love as we want to add more brands! Krissi x
sonia kashuk hands down! nars is a very close second. they both apply like butter to my nails- the polish almost melts on? sk is easy on the wallet- $5 at target while the $17 nars is a bit steep, but worth it. i do like opi and china glaze (cg 'below deck' is easily one of my favs) but the wear/texture/brush of the sk (and nars) polishes are unbeatable!
thanks to all for you suggestions, I'm looking at stocking some of the range shortly, but will definitely look into some of the other suggestions! krissi x
Nobody's added Zoya?!? Hands down favorite from me, but OPI is a close second. Out of the 40 some odd Zoya's I own, I have yet to find one that gave me application issues. Their formula is perfect!
Definitely agree with Essie being great...Zoya is my favorite though, and they have a great color selection for everyone's tastes!! Super long lasting too.
Just curious - what do you guys love about OPI? ... Cause for me, they're one of the worst brands. >___< They chip so damn easily, most of the colours are too sheer and patchy and need a few coats to actually look good, and the brush - omg! Its horrible, it's just too damn big and ... I dunno how to explain but like... not smooth haha.
I actually only own 5 or 6 OPI and 5 or 6 Nicole by OPI, so I guess I am not the best judge on their polishes. I like the colors but never got anymore because, as you said, the brush is so large that it was just obnoxious for me to apply polish to my nails. BUT I have recently started using the colors that I have and have personally noticed that they are one of the most long lasting ones that I have used. I really do like them - although I can't speak to the sheerness/patchiness of colors being that I don't have a huge collection so I will just have to see with experience.
BUT I do feel the way that you said about China Glaze. I have a LOT of CG nailpolish and I feel like they chip SO easily! The colors are to die for so I always get them but then most chip on the first day for me :(. I find a lot of their creme ones to be thick and clumpy to apply also. And a lot of the glitters and neons kind of flake/chip off really easily on my nails.
Guess it goes to show it's all preference/depends on the person maybe.
Raven - thank you! =] I agree with the colours, those big brands have an amazing selection, for me though, it just sucks about their quality.
Its funny how they last well on you and chip on me ahah. But I feel exactly the same about China Glaze - also Orly.

Without question it would have to be Nails Inc. The Kensington Caviar top coat is amazing. Better than their other top coats too.

Jesse's Girl and Mecca Cosmetica. The only nail polish brands I actually like. Every other brand (that I've actually tried) has been rubbish quality.
