SO BEING A WOMAN OF COLOR IT VERY HARD FOR ME TO FIND THE PERFECT CONTOURING SHADE...EITHER THEY ARE THE EXACT COLOR AS MY SKIN TONE OR IT IS TOO LIGHT TO EVEN MAKE A DIFFERENCE...SO WHILE DOING MY MAKEUP THE OTHER DAY INSTEAD OF USING A DARKER FOUNDATION (WHICH IS WHAT I NORMALLY USE FOR CONTOURING) I DECIDED TO USE A PAINT POT FROM MAC IN THE COLOR: CONSTRUCTIVIST (WHICH IS USUALLY USED FOR AN EYESHADOW BASE) AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY...I JUST APPLIED IT TO THE HOLLOWS OF CHEEKS..ALONG THE JAWLINE AND THE FOREHEAD...BLENDED IT OUT AND I WAS GOOD TO GO!! THE BEST THING ABOUT EXPERIMENTING WITH MAKEUP IS THAT YOU FIND DIFFERENT USES FOR THEM THAT THEY WERE NECESSARILY INTENDED FOR..GET MORE BANG FOR YOUR $$

I'm not a woman of color but wow how creative! Awesome tip
wow, thanks for the tip :) I usually use a warm toned, dark brown eyeshadow for contouring, and it works great!

Wow. I have been searching forever to find a perfect contour shade. They are all either too dark or too ashy looking or both. Thank you. I will be picking this up
