So I threw out most of my outdated makeup (yeah, it hurt) I threw out my eyeshadows and blushes..... Most of it. I also need some new brushes. Could you guys be legends (keep in mind I am but a poor student aha) and list some things to help me build my collection up again BUT only with the bare necesseties (my wallet doesn't have the strength for anything more, drugstore would be great) so I need a good
Blush (I'm not pale I have olive skin)
Foundation brush (face brushes?) HELP HA
Eyeshadow brush(es What are the needed ones?)
Some eyeshadow palettes (browns, maybe a smokey eye one?)
Mascara (although I am thinking of buying the new great lashes by Maybeline)
Anything else you guys can suggest that I would need? A good brush cleaner? Yeah, thanks to all of you that respond... Haha I don't suggest throwing out all of your makeup when in a spontaneous clean freak mood ;) THANKS!
Sigma brushes are great dupes for mac brushes and some are even better than the mac ones. They are less than half the mac prices. Look for their essential kit. You've got any brushes you'll ever need! And yes you should get a brush cleaner and the cheapest way is using dish soap and olive oil. Mix a small amount of olive oil to an antibacterial soap. It's the cheapest way and the better way i think for cleaning your brushes!
A REALLY good makeup line and very very in expensive is E.L.F. They sell some stuff at target like som brusges but they have ALOT more on their website elf.com
They have pallets and everything, you should check them out.
Alot of theyre stuff is only $1!
You can also watch youTube reviews on the makeup.
Oooh Marjorie those are gorgeous brushes! I found a set like that that is $16 Australian (you can convert it to your currency) if you could take a look and tell me what you think that would be great!
I took a look and they seems pretty good but i'm vegetarian and i only use vegan brushes and some of these are made with horse hair.. Don't know how it would feel on your skin because i never tried out horses hair brushes and i don't think i'll ever try! It's up to you! If you don't mind using animal brushes this is a good price and they look pretty good quality for the money! And actually, reviews are pretty good! You should give them a try!
