I want to stop getting my gel nails and start growing my natural ones again. My only concern is the aftermath, when the nails look gross till they grow out after getting the gel taken off. Does anyone know if there's any good products or remedies to help with the transition? Or do you just leave them looking like crap till they grow out of that stage?
I recommend Regular manicure every week or even every 2 weeks cutting or pushing the cuticle back will allow the nail to grow faster, also I know this might smell but take a cheap bottle of clear nail polish and add 1 Clove of garlic cut up, brush on nails at night.. It will help harden the nail #truestory.. Hope this helps.. Speaking from doing this myself... :)
Buff them once a day and keep the cuticle bed and nail moisturized. This will help with the broken appearance and the nail and nail bed looking so flaky.

The best thing is to go over to schellac. That is what I do for my clients.
