Of course I can't never seem to come home empty handed after visiting Bluemercury for my favorite shower gel and I walked out the store with some new additions to the family...NARS Taj Mahal and Exhibit A blushes. I'm my excitement I failed to ask the rep there what lippies I could pair with these two. What lip colors would work best with these two explosive shades? I'm a MAC NC 43-45 range (a little darker than a caramel chew) for reference.
Oohhhh I love this question, well nude lipsticks or glosses will help draw attention to the cheeks if you use that explosive of a color (depending on how nude you go), since you're already a woman of color the nude and the orange will work in harmony with your skin tone...another option in my opinion would be a *light stain of a warm pink on the lips, now notice I said warm pink and not hot pink, hot pink would draw all attention to the lips and not the cheeks, however if you do choose to go towards a hotter pink, there's a possibility the blush could compliment the hot pink, depending on how much of either product you apply :) I hope this has helped!
Thank you so much for the great advice @Asha M, Joshua R B and Danie D. After going thru my lip collection I found something that works perfectly. Revlon Bellini lipgloss topped off with just a touch of a soft of a peachy lip liner smudged in. It looks great with the blush (Exhibit A). For my eyes I paired it off with a cat-eye and individual lashes. I was quite impressed with the outcome. With Taj Mahal I think I will work either my Naked palette or MAC 'Call Me Bubbles' palette for the eyes. Thanks again for the advice. :)
