Tessi O.
Well, it's getting towards the end of the school year, and this is my last and only year of being homeschooled.
I've always loved fun hair colors, and I've decided to dye my hair blue while it doesn't matter.
'Cuz, you know, in school it would be a big deal and everything, and if it looked bad, I would have to grimace and bear it everyday.
BUT NOW NO ONE GIVES A RAT'S HAT, SO
yeah.
Er, anywho, I'm using a semi permanent dye for it and I'm dying all of my hair for the first time.
(my hair is naturally a lightish blonde color, the underside is dyed, originally, a black. It's now a faded brown/red since I haven't had money and ANYWAY THAT'S NOT THE POINT)
The thing is, I'm not sure what *kind* of blue to do it with.
I'm not very good with color relationships (Tessi, why didn't you pay attention in Art class, what's wrong with you), so I would really appreciate a little help here.
I'm pretty pale, not straight up Victorian white but I'm fairly... fair. (wow, good pun there, champ)
I have red undertones to my skin that I try REALLY HARD to hide because they're just so unattractive.
I love the color red, but I was reaaally sure that it would bring out the red in my skin, so that was out.
I've known a tip for awhile that if you want to give the illusion of whiter teeth, wear a lightly blue tinted lip gloss...
So I figured that a blue color against my face would bring out more white than red, maybe?
I know that green is the opposite of red, but, well, I mean
I don't really like green all too much and I wasn't sure if it would bring out the color by being the complementary OR WHAT
GOD THIS IS SO CONFUSING
If there's a better color for offsetting red, then I would just adore hearing it, thanks.
ANYWAY, MAIN POINT HERE
I've pretty much decided on blue.
What I'm not any kind of certain on is the /shade/ of blue to go for here.
As a side note thing here, my eyes are a blue/green/grey type color thing, and I'm just wondering if a blue would dull the color or bring it out more?
tldr; need to know the best shade of blue to offset red undertones/bring out bluegreengreyish eyes/look awesome and cool and dramatic and fun
If anyone's going to tell me to do streaks or something a little more toned down, I'm one hundred percent dead set on dying all of my hair, so don't even bother.
