My lips get absolutely horrible in the cold weather. Some things that have saved me this winter are eos lip balms and maybelline baby lips. I LOVE the one called quenched, it has no color but I feel like it's the most hydrating. It makes my lips feel better right away. I would start off with that because it applies a lot smoother than most any other chapstick and you don't want to rub rough chapstick over super dry painful lips. Be sure to apply often at first, as soon as your lips absorb it put some more on. Once they feel better try using a lip scrub to take off all the chapped, dry skin and your lips should be nice and smooth again. Hope this helps, xoxo

I suffer with the same thing. I use an intense lip balm called Flexitol. You should be able to pick it up on Amazon. xox

The best thing I've found is Smith's rosebud salve. You can get it at sephora for about $6. I put it on at night and my lips are the softest they've ever been, even in the winter.

i love nivea a kiss of moister it is such a life saver my lips were cracking. i got this and applied thru out the day and by the time i went to bed they were almost completely healed i also apply it right before i go to bed the heat in my house is so dry which in return makes my lips crack in the middle of the night this creates a barrier and my lips are baby smooth in the mornings!!!

Jack Black lip balm, definitely.

Lush lip scrub and Carmex at night before going to bed. So in the morning your lips are smooth. Vaseline is good too.

Vaseline every night before bed & drink water!
Protect your lips from the elements during the day - lots of lip glosses are oily and they attract the sun & can cause your lips to burn rather than just look pretty so be careful what you wear if you spend a lot of time outside :-)
Also make sure you're getting plenty of vitamins - beauty starts inside.

I suffer from the same problem and have tried a million remedies. The best Combo seems to be:
Drink more water!
If you have a dry home environment sleep with Vaseline on your lips to "seal" in their natural moisture.
During the day I've found Elizabeth Arden's Fragrance free 8 hour cream (just a dab) works under lipsticks and glosses.
If I know I'm going to be outside I make sure to use Blistex 5 star Lip protection because it has SPF 30 - and I have found that half my "Chapping" is from sun/wind burn.
And every other week I exfolliate with a sugar scrub and then put on the Elizabeth Arden cream real thick and try not to eat or drink for an hour to let it marinate :)
Hope that helps!

for a quick fix i take a face cloth or a q-tip and dip it in vaseline and then dip that into sugar and scrub/exfoliate my lips with it and it always works!!

hope this helps

There's no instant fix for this. It requires lots of care - stay hydrated and apply lip balm as often as you can. I recommend Vaseline, and Rosebud Mocha Rose Lip Salve.

You can also mix sugar and honey to exfoliate your lips every few nights.

Rosebud Salve! I really cake it on at night but during the day I just apply a thin layer...it really adds a pretty shine to your lips, too!

Vaseline is amazing at night. Use a hydrating lipstick until it heals a little, but don't rely on chapstick all the time because you can get addicted.

I agree with the other beautiful girls, drink water and vitamins too!

Hope you feel better

I haven't tried this myself, but someone once told me she mixed Vaseline with aloe vera and it was the most effective lip treatment. Ever.

I use a toothbrush to scrape away dead skin first, then i wet the tips of my fingers and rub my lips a little to get them plump and then I use nivea lip balm! Hope this helps<3

P.S. If you are looking for a better exfoliant, mix sugar and olive oil and rub it on your lips!<3

A lip scrub deff helps! mine used to be like that until I cleansed it and got all the dry skin out. Drink lots of water too ! Chapped lips are because of dehydration but you can definitely prevent it from being chapped with a lip scrub.

I have a video on my page if you would like to make your own at home too! very quick and easy.

I have the same problem. I use Clinique's repair wear lip treatment in the am and pm. I am allergic to most lip balms and chapsticks but since Clinique is 100% fragrance free and allergy tested it works great! I use Vaseline throughout the day.

I have the SAME problem. I actually got to the point where my lips were literally bleeding because it was so bad. What I do is right before I go to bed I use a brown sugar scrub all over, rinse that off, then lick my lips and apply vaseline generously. The vaseline seals in the moisture and your body naturally repairs itself overnight so when you wake up the next morning, viola! All better ^.^
