Something That Did Not Burn My Face
I'm very skeptical about using new cleansers and treatments on my face because almost everything I have used in the past has given me a bad rash. I did not regret getting this and will buy it again. It was very tingly in a good way and very gross in a way see where all the nasty stuff on my face was. It dried most of my current acne spots up (I usually have fairly clear skin but a few spots here and there) and diminished a lot of black heads drastically. The black heads that were bad and on my face for years disappeared after three uses. You have to be aware though that like a lot of acne deep treatments it can pull everything to surface that you did not know was there, which happened on my cheek but they did not last long. I think the results will always just vary by skin types and conditions because everyone has different skin. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
Okay Brush Set
I really like these, though I feel the blending brush is almost useless. They are really soft and decent quality. I still question the retail price on them but I do not regret the purchase. If you draw on eyebrows with eye shadow, which I do, the liner and lid brush work great for that. Otherwise I do not like the way they function as smoker and smudger and don't particularly care for the blending one and find it useless (though I still use it).
Not Bad, But Over Priced
I have used many different sponges for my foundation and concealer application and for the blending in process. Most sponges, like the white ones you can buy in a huge pack, really bother me with how they apply and seem to smear on my makeup and leave a lot undone. I actually like this sponge a good bit (even own the mini ones) , but I do see it being a tad over priced and over rated. You can buy a knock off for less than a dollar on Ebay if you are willing to buy from China that has the same texture and basically does the same thing (I've bought one that way before). I do not mind paying the high price, though like I said it is a tad expensive for a sponge. It really is brand lust for many people and there is nothing wrong with that. If you feel it is worth it then keep buying it. If you are unsure test it at Sephora.
Very Bold
Bulletproof - I have a big obsession with buying black eye shadows, specifically matte ones. This eye shadow was no disappointment at all. The color pay off is wonderful and it does blend fairly well. Way better than MAC carbon in my opinion, which I find not all that black and it is very hard to blend out. It is a very easy build up eye shadow for extreme intensity and easy to clean up with any fallout. If you use a base like a nyx jumbo pencil it does phenomenal even without a shadow primer first. It really stays on and does not fade.
Tako - White eye shadows are always a hard thing for me to get to be non translucent or only good for a subtly highlight. I used Tako the first time with no base or primer and it was a relativity noticeable white and easy to layer if need be. Although, it stays better with a base or it can become almost non existent looking. Never have I had a white eye shadow work so well.
Flamepoint - This one was just an indulgence because orange is my favorite color. I'm just in love with it. It is wonderful just like the other 3 sugarpill eye shadows I own. Beautiful orange tone.
Love + - It can be a pain finding a good true red eye shadow that does not end up looking pink or muted. It is definitely true to color and very pigmented. My love for this eye shadow is just all over the pace.
Of course all of these shadows shine best with a primer or base of some sort to make it stick and build up faster to an intensity you desire. All are very easy to blend out and clean up if you have fallout.
I was skeptical when buying this primer because it was clear and made my fingers feel all slick, but it really helped keep my foundation on and make it look way better. I got lots of compliments on it because of this primer. And skin type wise I am normal to combination and I think this product was made for oilier skin. It works with dewy foundations too, not just matte.
