I didn't care for this one at all. I got it as a sample in a Benefit gift bag, and was pretty excited to try it since I'd heard so many good things about it. It smudged easily, flaked a bunch and made dark circles under my eyes. I tried to love it, and even wore it for over a week, thinking I was being too hasty about hating it. Nope. It just didn't work for me. Thank goodness I didn't buy a full tube.

good for layering

I think this mascara is really great for layering on to make your lashes thick and voluminous...I use Covergirl Lash Blast first to get length and separate my lashes and then add this on to make them look thick as well. I would recommend making sure your lashes are curled and separated before putting it on or else they will get very clumpy!

Im not a big fan of mascara i like wearing falsies on a dailt basis but do know what good and bad in mascara and i didnt like this

I felt that for the price it was the same as a Mary Kay Ultimate mascara that i regularly use with a 11 dollar difference not worth it, Im glad i tried it though. So Good(okay) mascara not worth the money for me

Once the best, but got beaten out!

Once upon a time BADgal was this gal's absolute favorite mascara. It has a much drier consistency which I have learned is my preference when it comes to mascara. To get an idea of what I mean, I am not a fan of the ever so popular lashblash because the formula is just too wet and gets EVERYWHERE. I was thus recommended this and fell absolutely in love and purchased 2 or 3 tubes of this liquid black magic. However, its own makers out did themselves creating They're Real! This resolved any issues I had with BADgal. Issues in perfection? I believe it was one of the factors of my eyes watering and it did come off quite easily when it came to water and rubbing, although I loved it so I grinned and bared it because my lashes looked just that fantastic. If it is between a couple dollars for you then go ahead splurge on this mascara, however if you can afford to spend the extra 2-3 dollars on They're Real! (also created by Benefit) then I would say that it is the superior mascara!

Adds great length

I was impressed with how long this product made my lashes. I thought buying a more expensive brand mascara I would have less black leakage under my eye but its just the same. Does the job, but not worth the price.

length and volume

I have really crap eye lashes, and i got a sample size of this from a magazine, and it was great! It added length to my lashes, and it also gave me some volume, and it separated my lashes, where other mascaras would just clump them together! It was a small sample, and it lasted me for ages! I will definitely repurchase this mascara. The brush seemed to work for my lashes, and the product its self!

not bad...

I bought the trial size to try it out first and I did like it.. could make my lashes a tad clumpy but I blame myself for that sometimes I feel I get carried away haha but I loved the wand, it was big and thick and I actually used the wand for another mascara.. I would most likely buy the full size version..

Huge application brush!

I bought this mascara and their waterproof eye pencil in black, recently. The mascara is ok, not exactly what i expected, only because the girl at the Benifit counter explained to me that this will thicken as well as lengthen my lashes but, I feel as though it don't do much of that =-/ the brush might be a bit too big for me, so I tried it out with a smaller sample brush I had laying around from M-A-C and it looked the BOMB. I will say that the color (black) is very pigmented and it does NOT clump up my lashes, which I like the most about it. Over all, I think it's worth the price for the amount that's in the tube 8.5g/0.3oz (huge PLUS).
ps. the pencil I love! Very black and washes off ok for being waterproof.

I just started using this mascara and I have to say that it's really impressed me! I don't normally use black mascara, I've always used brown because of the color of my eyes...It just works better. However, this mascara is pretty good and it washes off easily without residue!

AMAZING for GREEN/HAZEL eyes!

I wear this on days where I am wanting a subtle look, as I am a fair blonde and black can look completely unnatural and fake. So, the plum is the perfect solution! It's subtle and unexpected and I get so many compliments when I wear it! My favorite thing about it is that it brings out the green in my hazel eyes and makes them pop! I love to wear this when I am wearing a purple shadow and liner, my eyes really stand out! Regardless of the amazing color, this mascara applies amazingly and wears well.
