I think if you do the newspaper print method on say a beige background then put on a clear top coat to seal it, and when that's dry paint on the cherry blossoms with finer brushes and then top-coat to seal it too. You can find separate tutorials for the newspaper print and cherry blossom designs :) Hope that helps :)
