Hey everyone! How you seen Lee Hi's Rose video?! Well obviously I have and was totally inspired by the simple and gorgeous makeup that was featured in it!
I don't speak Korean at all but I could feel the amount of emotion in the song and thought it was so gorgeous and beautifully matched the makeup and hair so well.
There were 3 very noticeable makeup looks in this video and today I am sharing with you this tutorial I made to teach you how to achieve 2 looks out of the 3! :) I chose the first 2 looks.
1, being the beginning look that is very light weight, subtle, and fresh. This look is soft and expresses the colours of a light pink rose petal.
2, is the fierce look more suited to a dark red rose. With light makeup on the eyes but amazing contrast in the eye shadow that makes it look very fierce along with a dark lip color and sharp circle lenses.
I did not do the 3rd look in the video. I didn't think this look would have much interest since it was more or less a band of yellow shadow across her whole face. So I skipped this look and only did the two! :) Although I did like the 3rd look as well.
