That's odd, it didn't happen to me! All of my keys work fine. Maybe you painted too thick of a layer? But anyways it's easy to remove, just stick it in nail polish remover!

It all depends on the brand of top coat that you use, and of course how much you use your keys. But you can always just repaint them when needed :)
