In this video I'm going to show you how to cover up your acne and acne scars with concealer. The first step to effectively covering your pimples is picking the right makeup. You need to find a good concealer that will cover your marks well. I will talk about several recommended concealer options in this video. Next choose your application technique. I've had great experience with synthetic brushes when it comes to covering acne. They are so much softer than animal hair and feel much better on irritated skin. I will have a list and link to each of the brushes I mention below. The last step is technique. Always use patting motions instead of swiping motions. You want to blend the product into the skin not wipe it away. Oops one more very important step- set your concealer with a good oil absorbing powder. This will ensure that your concealer stays put. That's pretty much it. I hope these tips help you and just remember it can and will get better. Just be sure that you leave it alone and don't irritate the issue by picking it.
