Show More Want to make an impact with a smokey eye, but black seems too much? Go for brown! You can get the same effect and have the same impact, but with a softer feel! Brown smokey eyes are "very in" for fall 2012 and were even spotted on the runway for Burberry + Bluemarine.

For this look I used all matte shadows to make the look wearable for anyone, but feel free to add some shimmer on the lid to give a brightening effect. Keeping with all matte will intensify the "smokey" aspect.
