This how to video was great you press your pigments so neat very little mess! I was watching youtube and there is an ingredient in mac pigments where you only need to use alcohol to press the pigments some other pigments you also need glycerine, and alcohol to press. take a look at this video

Yes, the frost/shimmer pigments from MAC already have a binder in them.. the matte pigments don't. Any sort of pigment that doesn't have a binder needs some sort of glycerine based mixing medium to bind the pigment together and keep it together once the alcohol evaporates.
