I recently entered a body transformation contest on bodybuilding.com (the Elite Ambition Challenge sponsored by Dymatize Nutrition)

This is week 1 of my 12 week weight loss journey. I had my daughter March 16th, 2012 and was cleared to exercise and it was perfect timing for this challenge. No one tells you the aftermath of having a child and the drastic changes your body goes through. I'm proud that I have earned my Mommy stripes and wouldn't change it for the world. What I can do is better my body now and get into the best shape of my life, not only to be a good role model for my children, but for myself :) I Hope to inspire other mommies that if I could have 3 babies and lose weight, look and feel great - you can too!
I'm a Mommy of 3 girls (I had 1 c-section and 2 VBAC's 'Vaginal Birth After Cesearan section), my girls are 5yrs old, 4yrs old and 8 weeks old.
Week 1 starting weight : 154lbs
End of week 1 : 148lbs
I am 5'0 for those that are wondering. I also had gained 35lbs during this pregnancy, and I was exercising/lifting weights during my pregnancy. I am currently breastfeeding so I am not taking any pre-workout supplements/fat burners etc. I am only taking multivitamins.
I'm currently eating about 1500 calories each day (which is on the low end of what I should be eating while I breastfeed) but this should help me lose weight! I do not eat fast food, I shop at fresh and easy for my groceries and I will list foods that I'm eating on my blog or perhaps go into further detail on my next vlog.
My Husband is my gym buddy, personal trainer and support system!
I lift weights 4 times a week and add in complex cardio sessions in between each workout. I'm not using any type of fad diet trend or those workout plans you buy (ie: toneitup)..
