Here is another easy hairstyle idea, learn how to Chignon (sock) Bun Updo (in French, Chignon Coiffure) on long hair (medium will work just as well). This romantic, elegant and chic wedding hairstyle is one of THE most popular and requested Bridal and Prom updo hairstyles. This low, side bun, looks perfect in any fancy, formal occasions...


I adore the fancy Low Side Chignons upstyles, because they're flirty, youthful and just endlessly more interesting and flattering than your typical low Sock/donut Bun!

I must admit that this was a pain in the arse to do on myself, because I couldn't see what the heck I was doing in the back(10000 times easier to do on other people, that's for sure!)... so don't feel discouraged if you can't get it right the first time. :)

If your hair is super straight and (too) healthy, I'd suggest that you curl your hair first with a 1/2 inch curling iron because it will make handling your hair easier. Other wise, the pins and any teasing you do will just slip off within 10 mins.
