It's that time of the year again - HOMECOMING! For all you girls looking for a elegant, romantic, cute, but EASY, and glamorous, red carpet formal updo that you can do yourself at home, --- Learn how to do the - Taylor Swift Hair, a "Messy Side Bun" (Chignon Coiffure ) hairstyle , for medium long hair in this formal hair tutorial.

This fancy formal updo was done with a clipless, 1/2 tapered curling iron on my long pin straight, Asian hair before putting it up, in a messy, side-swept chignon Coiffure.

Although I created this curly side bun tutorial mainly for the homecoming event (because as usual, I can't get her song out of my head, in this case - "I knew you were trouble" - Argh!), this chignon bun is timeless and can be worn as a bridal/wedding hairstyle, and to the prom, fancy dinner, party or any other formal occasion.
