OK...I tried it, with mixed success. First of all, when I was trying to take one halfway decent photo of my eyes so that I could attach a picture of how my attempt came out to this post, it took me 24 tries to get one that was not TOTALLY HIDEOUS! I realized, looking at all of the horrible ones, how old and wrinkly I truly am. That said, I like the look. I think I need more brown and less cranberry and purple. And I think it might be better for me to use matte colors and not so much shimmer, what with my wrinkles and bags and all. But, Karen E., thank you so much! I LOVE your videos and think you are just beautiful, even without any make-up on!

I am soooo glad that you attempted this look. I think it looks beautiful with your blue eyes, cranberry colors still look flattering for blue eyes but i would recommend something warmer for example taupe and browns and even some golds. in regards to the wrinkles don't worry too much about that, all you have to focus on is placing the shimmer strategically. keep mattes in mind for the crease and the lid. use shimmer as more of a highlight so the inner corner and even the brow bone. all in all, love it.
