Today, I'm doing NYX Powder Puff Lippie Lip Swatches and letting you know my thoughts. The Nyx Powder Puss Lipsticks came out a while ago, they have a cushion applicator which makes it both easy and difficult to apply.
Show More Today, I'm doing NYX Powder Puff Lippie Lip Swatches and letting you know my thoughts. The Nyx Powder Puss Lipsticks came out a while ago, they have a cushion applicator which makes it both easy and difficult to apply.

Unlike the Maybelline Lip Studio Color Jolt Intense Lip Paint, which are glossy, these do not have a slanted sponge tip applicator, the NYX Powder Puff Lippies have a rounded cushion applicator. The rounded tip is supposed to help you get a blurred edge, but it doesn't work as well with the darkest shades. I recommend going in with a lipliner as a base to make application easier.

The NYX Powder Puff Lippie is scented and doesn't have any claims related to length of wear or being transfer proof. It wears like a moussy matte lipstick that has a thinner than tube lipstick feel.
