Right after I got divorced, I wanted to keep it under wraps as much as possible and since he and I never had children, I basically wanted to pretend the whole thing never even happened... but whats the point if I don't do anything good with the situation? I'm not proud that I'm divorced but I am absolutely proud of my courage to leave- especially with knowing that I would be starting over with nothing. I know a vast majority of my generation is dealing with being young divorcees and as much as I felt completely alone when I was going through it, I think its important to speak up and let others know they aren't alone. A happy ending is possible if you believe in it. Not only did my divorce result in my having the courage to start a new career but it resulted in me finding MY person. This wasn't a very easy video to make- it started out at 16 minutes and I somehow managed to cut out overshares until I got to 6. I hope you guys enjoy getting to know me a little bit!
