After lots of trial and error, this is the most effective and efficient way I've learned to clean my makeup brushes. Vinegar is a natural cleaning agent that is very effective at sanitizing and removing the gunk from your makeup brushes. It is incredibly important to wash your brushes to make sure that any bacteria hanging out on them is killed. This will not only make your makeup look better but it will help prevent breakouts. For personal use brushes, this should be done ideally once a week but once every other week is good as well.
