Brush Cleansing - Deep Clean

So this is the way I "deep clean" my makeup brushes. I do this only once a month, and sometimes once every 2 months :x

On an everyday basis, I take isopropyl alcohol (91%) in a spray bottle and spray an old towel used primarily for brush cleaning and "spot clean" the just used brushes. This removes the color/makeup from the brushes, and they are ready to go for a different eyeshadow color.

I use a similar method once every week or 2, where I pour the alcohol into a dish, dunk the brush bristles in the alcohol (completely) and then take em' out, and wipe them clean on a towel. Set them down to dry, and even the larger brushes are dry within 20 minutes. Alcohol evaporates quickly, and eye makeup brushes are 100% dry and ready within 10 minutes. I love alcohol for cleaning and disinfecting. And no, alcohol does not dry out the brush hairs.

In this video, I will be using the beauty blender SOLID brush cleanser as method #1 and for method #2 you will see me using Baby Shampoo. Both work great and I have no preference between the two. I go with the one closest to me at the time :)
