Sorry if this video is long, I tried to fit 2 videos into 1! I'm getting ready for fall classes so I thought I'd share how I organize my desk and how I made it! Very simple and affordable to put together, and this project can be modified to suit your own taste and needs.

*Extra Tips & Ideas*

-use the height of your office chair the help determine the height of the desktop! (u don't want to be uncomfortable leaning over or reaching too much)

-sand, stain & seal the wood to prevent marks from pen ink, coffee stains etc

-create a Modge Podge collage over the wood

-to save money & recycle, use different sized soup & pasta sauce cans for markers and art supplies (wrap ribbon or scraps of fabric around the can, spray paint & seal them, or use stickers to customize them) **Do Not use cans with sharp edges! ;)**

-recycle old cereal boxes to store papers and files! Cover the box in pretty wrapping paper and label them according to your needs (ie: "English Lit."/ "2012 Taxes" etc)
