This video features the first ever makeup tutorial I recorded back in 2011 on another channel on a cheap webcam in my small apartment. Yikes that was painful to watch. At the time I had nothing but passion for makeup but lacked the skills...didn't know much about blending or anything else for that matter. But I kept on watching more Youtube tutorials, practiced over and over, experimented with new ideas, and kept at it over the years until I was able to really hone in on my makeup style.

I should also mention that I painted and sketched a lot when I was growing up, and used to do art as a job back when I was a teenager, so a lot of the time I simply translate those skills into my makeup. But there was still a very steep learning curve for me, as makeup and traditional art are very different.

anyways, i hope you enjoyed this little makeup compilation showing how my makeup skills have developed over the years...hope it motivates you to keep on pursuing your passion, regardless of what it is or how much you struggle with it.

And yes, many more videos and tutorials to come...I've got a look I've been working 3 weeks on to debut soon ;)
