I used NSI Glaze n Go to stick on the gold foil pieces, flash cured them and sealed them in with gel top coat.

I used gel top coat on the other nails even my thumb and pinky nails which have regular polish on them. Gel top coat can be applied on top of regular nail polish as long as the polish is dry.

I like applying gel instead of regular top coat because I have more time to ensure the top coat applies evenly and also gel top coat smooths out any streaks or unevenness in the polish.
