Blue is one of those eye shadow colors that if used incorrectly, can make you look a little crazy. So what are some stand out tips to make this look work? Use less blue than you think you need. For any smokey eye look, blending is what's going to make it have that smokey effect, so you don't need to add tons of shadow to acieve it. Work in small sections to control how to look turns out, and add as you need to.

Another thing that's mildly important, maybe save the face makeup for after the eye makeup on this one. Why? Because one misplaced speck of blue eyeshadow, and an unknowning sweep on your hand and suddenly you have a dark circle not amount of concealer will be able to hide... trust me on that one...
