There are plenty of updo hairstyles from the Oscars, but one of our favorites was Maria Menounos’ braided updo- it was the perfect accompaniment to her stunning, sparkly frock, as it was super pretty and soft.

If you're into accent braids, try using bigger sections, as we did. It makes any style look softer and less contrived.
