Personally, I've noticed that the clothing I declutter often still have tags attached, usually they have sales tags. I want to break that cycle. I only want to buy things I will use whether they are on sale or not.

You'd be surprised at how much money you can save when you resist shopping the sales or clearance rack. Consumers are often swayed by price more than the actual item they are purchasing. When we see an item on sale, we automatically think of savings and the thrill of the bargain.
