HELPFUL TIPS:
* I prefer hot glue for all my crafts, BUT it will not last for most plastic and metal projects. If you’re not crafting for fun like me, extend the life of your DIYS by using industrial strength glue.
*DIY #1: I added more glue to the rings, on the inside, for additional support. Don’t attempt to cut the wine glass bottom, it will crack. A wood burning tool would also be helpful when tapering the sides
*DIY #2: The foil is an extra step, but I like it. Try painting the cardboard instead. For additional dimensions, add cardboard to back of the diamonds ,and use diamond wrap as trim.
* ADDITONAL NOTES: The makeup containers and candle holder to the right, are featured in the first playlist below!
* BUYING IN BULK: Go to Hobby lobby Joann Fabrics, or check Amazon, Etsy, and buy in bulk for gems, trim, beads and pearls! Buying at Dollar Tree isn’t always the cheapest option. I bought 1 pound of gems and pearls for $8 when they were 50% off and I paid $7 for of gems at joann when they were 70% off. Something sharp to cut with
Hot glue or other (large one from amazon, small one from hobby lobby)
Something to write with
Wax tool (amazon)
Square mirror
Cardboard
Ruler
Aluminum foil
Napkin rings (2)
Acylic gems (dollar tree or bulk from amazon)
Paperclips
Large and small Gems (dollar tree, walmart- over 1,000 for under $3 and bulk, see note above)
Mirror tiles
Wax paper
Locker mirror
Diamond wrap
Rhinestone trim hotfix crystal mesh, $15 for 9x 15 sheet
Decorative AB resin crystal bridal trim, $15 for 1 yard
Led candle
Plastic Wine glass bottom
Plastic pencil pouch
