A little background: I had horrible acne as a teen and as a young adult. It doesn't look like it now, but I had to see a dermatologist for hyperpigmentation right smack in the middle of my forehead from acne. I've tried every drugstore, and walmart skincare product on the market growing up. I am no stranger to any of it. It does get better. You have to research and try to understand your skin before you can treat it. Harsh products don't mean results.

If you can afford to see a dermatologist, please do! I wish my parent's could have afforded that for me. It's something I will absolutely do for my girls when/if they end up having the issues I did.

I am not a skincare expert. I know a lot about skincare because I research, try and read. I consume content around skincare so that's why I'm so into it.
