So maybe this is all a bit OTT, but I felt you deserved an explanation as to why my content this month has been kind of crappy. And even though that's what this video is all about, I still don't think I managed to explain myself very well! Actually, I cut about 20 minutes out of this video. I just talked way too much, and explained so little. So here's a better explanation:

- My acne is getting a lot better, thank goodness! But now, as you can maybe see from the pictures, I have a lot of red marks. I need to remove these red marks somehow. It's very common for my skin to do this after acne, but as I'm ageing, it's becoming increasingly difficult to remove them. I hate hyper pigmentation! It's super frustrating.

- I still don't know what caused my incredible acne breakout. It was probably a bunch of things. Now, I'm trying to analyse my life and minimise or remove the things that could cause problems.

- I don't know if you give a crap about any of that.

- My life isn't exactly hectic, but it is a bit stressful. I haven't had a good month, I haven't been very happy. It's hard to make content when you feel down. Why have I felt like this? It's something I need to deal with.

- My channel has not really improved a whole lot over the past 3 months since I made the last video asking for your advice. I've tried a range of suggested things, but not a lot has worked. And this month especially, has been bad in terms of views. While I'm not trying to achieve the heights of stardom here, the fact that I have 85k+ subscribers yet struggle to hit 1k views on videos, makes me feel like I'm failing. I would rather I had half the subscribers I do. At least then I wouldn't feel like such a failure.

- While I love doing youtube, and I want to be self-employed, the stagnation of views and lack of authentic interaction is hard to take week after week after week. I'm positive I'm not the only youtuber who feels that way. Maybe it was the algorithm that changed my channel, or maybe people aren't getting my videos. Or maybe people genuinely don't give a shit about what I do. I don't know what the truth is. But it affects me, because I love this medium so damn much.

- I'm going to keep making content. But If I miss a day, and you don't see me on Instagram or Facebook, then you can bet your dollary-doo's that I'm feeling too crappy to produce content.

I think that covers all the things. Sorry this video isn't great, it's just a general update. It'll be back to your regularly scheduled content on Thursday/Friday.
