What makes this pizza diabetic friendly? I use unrefined flour, which does not convert into sugar. I also do not use dairy or oil which spikes the blood sugar. This pizza contains veggies and chickpeas, which are packed full of protein and essential nutrients.

Ingredients Needed:
Dough-
3 C Whole Wheat Flour (Stone Ground, unrefined). If you are gluten free, get a gluten free flour.
1 package of yeast dry.
1/2c Unsweetened Applesauce
1 1/4c of warm water (NOT HOT)
Pizza
Marinara or oil free pizza sauce
Vegan Parmesan Cheese (I made my own) Video coming soon
Veggies of choice
Garlic
rosemary
oregano
basil
Nutritional Yeast (Add as much or little as you want)
