hullo! ^_^ today I've created a mermaid makeup look for you all, shironuri-style! I used this look to test out just how well my new Urban Decay Electric Palette worked...turns out it's VERY GOOD. for more details on this mermaid makeup tutorial and other tidbits, make sure to read the info below!

as i mentioned before, i wanted to do a proper test of a new palette i just bought, the electric palette from urban decay. i decided i wanted to create something using the blues and purples from the palette, since i rarely use them in my makeup tutorials.

so i experimented a bit and came up with this. some of you said on instagram that it looked liked a mermaid so i'm calling this a mermaid makeup look. i also wanted to test out how well I could blend and contour since I really don't do that much these days. seems it turned out decently ^_^

the origami i'm wearing in this video was made by me! i made these origami flowers and cranes over the course of a month as a something to do while watching tv...because evidently watching tv isn't enough entertainment for me. but i glued these to bobby pins and placed them in my hair.
