TARGET Plus Size Inside The Dressing Room

This is my first inside the dressing room video, and I wanted to highlight what the in store shopping experience is like for the plus-size customer. I feel the need to call out the difference between the way clothing is displayed, marketed and distributed for straight-sizes VS plus-size shoppers. I love fashion, and I love Target for making stylish clothes affordable, however I am disappointed that often the most interesting items in the women's department are online-only for plus size shoppers. I go into how this is a self-fulfilling prophecy in my video, and I'm hopeful that even if you yourself are not plus size, perhaps you will better understand your friends a bit better.

Are you able to easily and confidently shop for a specific need, more or less in one shopping outing? Do you have to resort to online shopping because often stores don’t carry your size? Do you feel your options are limited, and you’re sick of it? Maybe you’re one of our thinner friends, (hey girl! We love you too!) and it makes you sad when a friend feels left out on a shopping trip. Are you able to cover your most basic needs at local brick and mortar stores?
